Some hosting companies do not support certain technologies on their servers, which is a big problem if these technologies are used by your web designer.

As you can see below, we offer four different hosting plans. All websites are different. Some are large sites that have a lot of monthly traffic, some are smaller and do not use much web space. Frequently Asked Questions

Our process for each project normally revolves around the following steps…

  1. I do not know my monthly traffic, which hosting plan should I choose?
    If this is your first ever website, it usually takes some time for your website to pick up traffic, so for this reason we would usually recommend maybe the Bronze or Silver package.
    If this is a website redesign and you know your website is normally busy, or you have a strong web following prior to your first website being built, it may be advisable to go for the Gold or Platinum package.
    We are happy to advise you on what would be the best option for you. Remember, you can always go for one plan, and then upgrade or downgrade the following month.

  2. How can I monitor the monthly traffic my website is using?
    After your website goes live, we send you all relevant information you need to know which includes being able to check your own web statistics. You will be able to monitor and analyse your web hits, page views and traffic. You can then use this information to determine which hosting plan you would benefit best from.

  3. What happens if I have a lot of visitors in one month and the bandwidth exceeds my allowance?
    If this happens, your website will no longer be available until your next month starts, and will be replaced with a message saying something along the lines of 'Bandwidth Exceeded'. Of course, you will want to avoid this, which is why it is very important to choose the right hosting plan so this does not happen. If this does happen, please upgrade your plan the following month or contact us and we will upgrade it for you immediately for a fee.

  4. I have paid upfront for the year. Can I change this plan half way through the year?
    Yes you can however there is a £15 charge to do this. Remember if you are not sure about a plan, feel free to ask us, we are happy to help.

  5. Another company is designing my website, can I still host with you?
    Yes you can. We may need to speak with them to discuss a few technicalities in setting things up.

  6. There is a problem with my website and/or emails. What do I do?
    We guarantee 99.9% uptime, so it is rare that your website should ever go down. However, if you experience any problems with your website or your emails, we use a very reliable ticket system which will solve your problem. Just simply open a ticket, explain the problem and one of our technicians will get back to you within 24 hours. High priority tickets will get looked at even quicker.

  7. I have lost/forgotten my log-in details, can you send me the details?
    All usernames and passwords will be provided to you at the beginning of creating a hosting account. It is your responsibity to keep this information safe. If you lose these details, we are happy to provide you with the information you need, however there will be a charge of £15 per request. This is simply to cover the time it takes to retreive the If however, the log-in details have changed due to a fault on our part, we will supply you the information at no cost.
